Ilyssa Carsia, PMHNP-BC – Psychiatric Care
Ilyssa Carsia is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (CRNP, PMHNP-BC). She received a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh before going on to obtain another Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Holy Family University. She then received her master’s in nursing as PMHNP from Thomas Jefferson University. She has extensive experience as a registered nurse in both medical-surgical and outpatient settings. She has worked at TJUH, as well as at CHOP’s Center for Advanced Behavioral Healthcare. She is passionate about mental health and enjoys how her chosen profession is all about fostering genuine human connections and practicing compassion.
